Cold Pipe Cutting is a precision mechanical cutting method used to safely cut and prepare pipelines without the use of flame or significant heat. Using specialized split-frame or clamshell machines, the pipe can be accurately severed, beveled, or prepared for welding and tie-in activities while minimizing heat-affected zones, sparks, and the ignition risks associated with conventional hot cutting.
