16” Heavy-Wall Pipe Fabrication Milestone at Our Basra Workshop

Our Basra workshop recently completed a batch of 16” heavy-wall pipe spools to Schedule 140 specification, supporting an active pipeline package in the Rumaila area.

The scope covered the full workshop fabrication flow: material receiving and dimensional checks, fit-up and tack welding, multi-pass welding with continuous visual inspection, and flange assembly before spools were released for site installation.

All welding was carried out by certified welders under close QA/QC supervision, with grinding and visual inspection performed at each stage to maintain weld quality and dimensional accuracy.

This kind of workshop capability allows ALJAZEEL to pre-fabricate complex spool configurations off-site, reducing field welding time and improving schedule certainty for our clients.
